Craig Appl this is the beginning of the scoping that Christina Riley created and validated with CHAI and BVBD.
Thailand Task Hierarchy and Color-coding for R2
The color/marking indicates the completion* of the given task at the point / structure. Color-coding is currently dependent on which tasks are included in the given plan. The usage of one color-set for all plans was discussed (see parentheses), but the Thailand team preferred to use green to indicate that all tasks (even for single-task use cases) have been completed. Ideally these colours apply both to the map view and the list view. The user also needs a legend of these colours available somewhere in the UI.
Multi-task use Cases (most Focus investigations)
- Structure tasks
- Enumerated / structure added: YELLOW
- Family registration: PINK
- Index case confirmed: Two radii (structure & 1km)
- RACD / MBS: PURPLE
- Bednet distribution / VC: BLUE
- All activities complete for structure: GREEN
Fam registration not possible to complete REDSamuel Githengi - you can ignore this (& the others that have been struck through below) for now - I'm leaving it in so we can discuss & potentially scope later, thanks!
‘Single-task’ use cases (once families are registered)
- Net Distribution
- Enumerated / structure added: YELLOW
- Family registration: PINK
- Distribution (at least 1 net): GREEN (blue)**
Fam registration not possible to complete RED
- A1 Mass Blood Screening / ACD
- Enumerated / structure added: YELLOW
- Family registration: PINK
- Complete screening: GREEN (purple)**
Fam registration not possible to complete RED
** We discussed alternatively using a set color for each unique task to indicate ‘structure done’ for that desk.
See Reveal Android Client Business Logic document for a detailed breakdown of the following:
- Entomological point tasks
- BCC (focus-level)
- IRS
*Assumptions
- ICC, RACD, & BD are all dependent on the family being registered so fam registration is assumed to have been done if a structure is purple, blue, or green and/or has a radius drawn around it.
- RACD has been done but BD has not been completed if the structure is purple (because otherwise, it would be green if both were completed).
- BD has been done but RACD has not been completed if the structure is blue (because otherwise, it would be green if both were completed).
- *‘Completion’ for family registration, RACD, and BD tasks is based on at least 1 form being completed, i.e.:
- Family registration: the head of household has been registered.
- RACD: at least 1 form has been completed, even if the individual refused to be tested.
- Bednet distribution: the form has been completed, even if no nets have been handed out.
Software Development Required
This section defines what needs to change in the system:
What needs to change:
- If a family has been registered at that location the color will be pink.
- If a bednet distribution
taskform has been completed for that structure, the color will be blue. - If
allany blood screening tasks have been completed at the location, the color will be purple. - We need to distinguish between plans that have only two actions (slack question to Akros)
Craig Appl Annie Martin - Can we discuss fam-registration changes further & the 'in-progress' recommendation below as it applies to changes 2 & 3.
What doesn't need to change:
- If the location has not been enumerated, no family registered, we keep it as yellow
- We do not change any colors for larval dipping, mosquito collection or IRS tasks
- We do not change the drawing of the circles radius around the case confirmation location
In Progress Recommendation
A simple visual indicator (like an orange border or a small-ish orange circle on the upper right-hand corner of the structure, or any specific color) to indicate that activities at the structure are still in progress/not fully complete). The user could infer that the activity is either RACD or bednet distribution (or both) depending on the main color-status of the structure.
Future builds with toggle feature:
>= 1 activity not possible to complete RED
