FI Planning Demo for Thailand

This page defines the exact steps that have been verified for the Thailand demonstration on 6 Aug 2019.

Known Limitations:

  • We do not currently have the logic to query for households when creating tasks. This is still in development. As a result, we are only able to demonstrate
  • The skip logic in the plan creation form needs to be improved
    • It currently shows the ability to display a case confirmation action even though routine intervention was selected above
  • The redirect after plan save doesn't redirect you to the page immediately. We need to wait for the Nifi process to run before you can view the plan
  • There is a bug at this moment where tasks aren't showing up in the map view for these plans, but they show up in the list view in the Android client. This was discovered today due to a server deployment that happened on Friday.


Steps:

  • Login to: https://web.reveal-stage.smartregister.org/ (supersetTester|Amani123)
  • Click Focus Investigation>Active
  • Scroll down to the Routine Investigation section and click the blue button labeled "Add Focus Investigation"
  • Scroll to the top of the form and fill it out using the following fields:
    • Intervention Type = Focus Investigation
    • Focus Area
      • Lop Buri
      • District Tha Luang
      • Canton Tha Luang
      • Two Two Two Release Village
      • TwoTwoTwo_04 (click this twice)
    • Focus Investigation Status = A1
    • Focus Investigation Reason = Routine
    • Note down the plan name
    • (Use default values for everything else)
  • Scroll to the bottom and click Save Plan
  • You will be redirected to the home page. We have a Nifi processor running every 5 minutes that will pick up the FI plans that are created, they will generate tasks and create the plan.
  • (Wait 5 minutes) Open up your Android tablet and login (222|Amani123)
  • You should see the new plan there
  • Tap sync and the tasks will sync
