OpenMRS Mapping

OpenSRP uses OpenMRS as the backend system where all data collected by the frontline health care workers is stored and accessed for research. This could further be used in clinical settings where patients whose data was collected by OpenSRP can be accessible during clinic visits from the OpenMRS instances setup in the clinics.

With this in mind, OpenSRP has developed with the OpenMRS data model in mind thus all inputs into OpenSRP should be correctly mapped to allow for data saving into OpenMRS. More details are given per use case below.
