Downloading OpenMRS

The latest version of OpenMRS is not currently supported. Version 1.12.x is the supported version. Please download the OpenMRS 1.12.0 WAR file from this link.

Setting up the MVP/CIEL dictionary

OpenMRS Modules

OpenMRS modules allow you to extend the functionality of OpenMRS and can be downloaded from the OpenMRS Modules Page. You can also install and upgrade modules from the Manage Modules page in your OpenMRS installation. The minimum set of modules  needed to use OpenSRP with OpenMRS is below:


  • Serialization Xstream v0.2.7
  • Reporting v0.9.3
  • HTML Form Entry v2.5
  • HTML Form Entry Extensions for OpenMRS 1.9 Module v1.5
  • Rest Web Services v2.8.19024
  • Calculation v1.1
  • HTML Widgets v1.6.7

OpenMRS Configuration

Each implementation of OpenSRP includes custom configuration in OpenMRS. Please post to the developer forum with any questions on the OpenMRS setup and configuration for your target environment.
